10 Underrated Classics for the GameBoy Advance

starfy3Nintendo’s GameBoy Advance is a classic console. It has a strong library of both original games and SNES favourites. Mario is great, Zelda is great, and Metroid is great. But you probably already know this. Overall the system has less ‘hidden gems’ than others, largely down to the fact that its lifespan was cut short by the release of the Nintendo DS only three years later. However, there’s still some amazing titles that never got the recognition they deserve, and today I’ve picked out ten of my favourite.

Videogames provide many great lessons in the field of parenting, although admittedly this is usually in the form of what you shouldn’t be doing. This Week’s Purchase: Orange GameBoy Advance (with Backlight) + Japanese Games

1This week I bought a first generation GameBoy Advance. This was a console I used to really like, but its unilluminated screen means that by today’s standards it’s just about impossible to see in pretty much any lighting condition. However, when I found a fix for the console’s Achilles heel, in the form of a custom installed backlit screen, I also rediscovered my love for Nintendo’s classic handheld.
