titleLongtime DC readers might remember that I originally reviewed the import version of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle back in August last year. At the time I enjoyed it quite a lot, but certainly didn’t think it would be localised. Am I glad it did? Of course, but now its problems are clearer and it stands out as a game that isn’t for everyone.

Review: Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure

title2It’s been a long while coming, but after 25 years of manga the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure anime has been well worth the wait. This is an ambitious and focused retelling of an epic story, beginning right at the start and covering the manga’s first two volumes; Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency. Filled with style and character, this is a show that will please both newcomers and fans alike.

titleIt’s been 25 years since the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga originally began, yet despite huge success in the printed medium there was a general shortage of the mandatory anime, games and other such items that usually follow. But since last year this is no longer true, and following on from the incredibly awesome anime, which finished back in April, we now have a fighting game fans won’t be forgetting any time soon.
